Wintarnaht - Archaic Black Metal / Archaischer Schwarzmetall

Wintarnaht spielen Pagan Black Metal; in Eigenbezeichnung Archaischer Black Metal. Daher stammt auch der Name Archaic-Oath Productions. Seit 2012 werden die Texte überwiegend in der Althochdeutschen Sprache gesungen. Wintarnaht wurde unter dem Namen Winternight  1997 von Grimwald (Syderyth) gegründet, nachdem sich seine Death Metal Formation Morial aufgelöst hatte. Grimwald ist heute das einzige feste Bandmitglied. Für Liveauftritte sind treue Gastmusiker an seiner Seite.

Wintarnaht play Pagan Black Metal; they describe their own style as Archaic Black Metal. This is also the origin of the name Archaic-Oath Productions. Since 2012, the lyrics have been sung predominantly in Old-High-German. Wintarnaht was founded in 1997 under the name Winternight by Grimwald (Syderyth), following the break-up of his Death Metal band Morial. Grimwald is now the only permanent band member. For live performances, he is joined by a loyal group of guest musicians.
